While a surgical face lift is typically reserved for patients 40 years and older, an injectable face lift can be performed on patients in there 30’s who want to minimise the visible signs of ageing.

An injectable face lift may not be appropriate for patients with excess loose or hanging skin as replacing volume to “tighten” the skin could result in an overfilled, fake look.  Dr Choroomi’s philosophy is to always deliver natural results, therefor, surgical options may be discussed to achieve your desired results.

Injectable Face Lift Consultation with Dr Choroomi

An injectable face lift is not a one-type-fits-all procedure. This treatment must be carefully individualized to match each patient’s unique facial anatomy and aesthetic desires.

During your consultation, Dr. Choroomi will examine and assess each aesthetic area of the face contributing to your overall appearance: the brows and eyelids, the cheeks or ‘midface’, the lower face and chin, and your neck. You will have a chance to discuss what you dislike about your appearance and what expectations you have from injectable treatments. Injectable Face Lift Treatment

The treatment for injectable face lift requires strategically placed facial fillers and anti-wrinkle injections into the areas of concern. This procedure is done while you are awake in Dr Choroomi’s treatment room.  Ultra fine needles are used to administer the injections and numbing cream will be applied to minimize any discomfort.

The procedure usually lasts 20-30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.

Recovery from Injectable Face Lift

There is little to no downtime associated with injectable face lift rejuvenation. You should experience minimal to no bruising and lightly swollen, pink areas at the injection sites. You may return to normal activity following treatment although you should refrain from heavy exercise for 2 days as it can increase swelling. Face make-up should be avoided on the day of the procedure, wait until the following day to apply as you want to keep the injection sights clean of bacteria.

Injectable Face lift Results

Anti-Wrinkle Injections: While the product itself will begin to reduce muscle activity immediately, improvement from anti-wrinkle injections can take up to 7 -10 days to reach full correction. The treatment effects typically last 3-4 months but with consistent use, the muscles may become weaker and injections may be needed less frequently.

Facial Fillers: Results from facial fillers can typically be seen immediately but the full rejuvenating effect may not be appreciated until swelling has completely subsided, typically after 2 weeks. On average, the effects of facial fillers may last between 6-9 months. Follow-up treatments will need to be maintained to preserve your results.
